The Council promotes the remodeling industry as it works with local councils to raise public awareness of remodeling as it promotes the benefits to consumers of hiring professional remodelers. In conjunction with the NAHB Remodelers Council, it provides education, certification and information to assist members in all aspects of their business and to improve and promote professionalism within the remodeling industry. The Council helps plan and execute the annual Tour of Remodeled Homes held in August. The Council also offers opportunities to network and socialize with colleagues. Each meeting features a speaker on a pertinent issue in the remodeling industry.

Another benefit of the Membership in the BIA Remodelers Council is being able to participate in the Tour of Remodeled Homes!
The Tour of Remodeled Homes is Central Kentucky's largest annual remodeled homes tour. The Tour is held in August over the course of one weekend. To showcase a remodel project on the Tour, Remodelers must be a member of the Building Industry Association of Central KY in good standing and a Member of the BIA Remodelers Council.
The Tour of Remodeled Homes provides visitors the opportunity to find a knowledgeable BIA Professional Remodeler and gain information regarding current remodeling trends.
